The Parashurama avatar is the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Parashurama, born in Treta Yuga, is renowned as a Brahmin warrior and a great sage. He is the son of Renuka and Jamadagni, one of the Saptarshis. Parashurama possessed the skills of both a Brahmin and a warrior due to his lineage. He was trained by sage Vishwamitra in military tactics and received divine weapons from Lord Shiva. During Parashurama's time, the warrior clans became arrogant and considered themselves superior to the four Varnas. Kartavirya Arjuna, the monarch of the Haihayas Kingdom, was a tyrannical ruler who created havoc on Earth. In response, Parashurama took an oath to eliminate the Kshatriyas twenty-one times after witnessing the brutal murder of his father, Jamadagni, at the hands of Kartavirya Arjuna's soldiers.
